С недавних пор файлы Excel, размещенные на сетевых дисках, стали дико долго открываться. После некоторых поисков было найдено следующее:
После установки апдейта Microsoft Office File Validation Add-in очень долгое открытие файлов Office
апдейт был установлен через WSUS. на следующий день пользователи начали жаловаться на очень долгое открытие файлов Excel.сложный и большой файл с внешними связями, ранее открывавшийся за 5-15 секунд, начал открываться за 1-3 минуты.
исследование показало, что проблема не зависит от места хранения файла (сеть, локально), но зависит от размера файла. большие файлы (без внешних связей) открывались за 30 сек – 1 мин. (например, файл 7,5 мегабайт). в это время Excel «подвисал» (не перерисовывалось окно, в строке статуса, там где прогрессбар открытия документа, появлялся белый прямоугольник и т.п.). небольшие файлы открывались быстро.
протестировано на Windows XP, 7, Office 2003, 2007 в разных комбинациях.
Microsoft Office File Validation Add-in предназначен для проверки бинарного файла перед открытием на соответствие формату Office. если файл проверку не прошёл, то пользователь получит предупреждение (из описания обновления на WSUS).
удаление Microsoft Office File Validation Add-in сразу же (без перезагрузки системы) решает проблему.

Entry «» has invalid or expired e-mail certificates. These certificates will not be included in the offline address list for «\Global Address List».

To remove invalid or expired certificates from a user:
- Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
- Click View, and make sure that Advanced Features is selected.
- Locate the user in question, right-click, and then click Properties.
- Click the Published Certificates tab. This shows a list of X.509 certificates published for this user.
- Remove any unnecessary certificates.
- Click OK and close Active Directory Users and Computers.

1. Закройте Skype (В Vista и 7 – правый клик на значке Skype в панели Windows и «Выйти из Skype)
2. Нажмите Пуск-> Выполнить
3. В открывшемся окошке наберите: %appdata%\skype и нажмите OK
4. В открывшейся папке найдите файл shared.xml (если у вас не отображаются стандартные расширения он будет выглядеть как просто shared) и удалите его
5. Запустите Skype заново

Привет друзья! Ни для кого не будет секретом то, что WordPress является сейчас топовым движком для создания сайта. Многие забывают, что помимо создания сайта и его раскрутки нужно его как следует защитить. Этим мы и займемся сейчас. Я рассмотрю 5 простых, но действенных способов защититься от хакерских атак.
1) Убираем версию блога. Версию блога желательно скрывать от посторонних глаз. А увидеть ее не составит труда любому человеку, достаточно посмотреть исходный код страницы (Ctrl+U). Чтобы ее удалить нужно зайти в functions.php вашей темы и добавить строки

а в файле header.php убрать строку

Outlook has a productivity feature which suggests names for the To, Cc, and Bcc fields as you type. This Nickname cache is stored in an NK2 file and when properly used can save time for the user.
Outlook 2007 improves user productivity by caching the most recently used e-mail addresses entered in the TO:, CC:, and BCC: fields when messages are sent. This cache is stored in an AutoComplete file with the extension .NK2 located in the user’s profile, for example in Windows Vista it would be:
\users\\AppData\Microsoft\Outlook\.NK2
As the user types an address, the cache items matching the letters typed are displayed in a dropdown box [See Figure 1]. The user can navigate through the cached items with the arrow keys and select the desired recipient if it is present. By the same manner, the user can delete individual entries in the cache as well. The AutoComplete file handles up 1000 entries and stores more than just addresses. Among its content resides X.500 directory information, X.509 PKI certificate data, and auto-resolution information as well.

Такие учетные записи не поддерживают работу с этой функцией. Получатель сообщения, которое требуется отозвать, также должен использовать учетную запись электронной почты Exchange. Например, нельзя отозвать сообщение, отправленное на личную учетную запись электронной почты POP3 поставщика услуг Интернета.
Людям свойственно ошибаться. Электронная почта позволяет быстро связываться с сотрудниками, планировать встречи и обмениваться документами. Однако иногда в спешке мы забываем присоединить нужный файл или отправляем не ту информацию и осознаем ошибку только после того, как нажмем кнопку Отправить .
Возможные сценарии
Вы отправляете сообщение, в котором просите своих сотрудников проверить показатели продаж за текущий год. После отправки письма на вас обрушивается лавина ответов: «Какое вложение?», «Я не получила вложения!», «Не могли бы вы переслать вложение?».
Как исправить ошибку? Вам необходимо отозвать исходное сообщение, а затем повторно отправить его, но уже с вложением. Для тех сотрудников, которые еще не успели открыть ваше сообщение, вы сможете заменить исходное сообщение новым.
In Microsoft Outlook, how do I view other users’ calendars, or other folders to which I have access?

If you have permission to access any folders in another user’s Exchange mailbox in Outlook, you may open the folders on demand. If you need more frequent access to them, or access to a subfolder, you may add another user’s mailbox to your Outlook Folder List. Opening another user’s folder on demand in Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003, or 2007
This method will allow you to open one of the primary mailbox folders (Calendar, Contacts, Inbox, Journal, Notes, or Tasks) in a separate window that will not reappear the next time you start Outlook:
1. From the File menu, select Open, and then Other User’s Folder… .
2. In the Open Other User’s Folder window, type the other person’s username, or use the Name… button to select the person’s name from the Address Book.
Note: You can only open the mailbox of another Exchange user.

If you are using the default password manager that is built-in to Firefox, you would notice that logging in to websites such as PayPal and Citibank doesn’t prompt you to remember the password. However it seems to work on other websites. Well this is not a bug but it is just the web browsers respecting the autocomplete=”off” code that is on the HTML. Many years ago I’ve shared a tip on how to force Firefox to save password on websites such as Yahoo Mail and Hotmail using a bookmarklet which I can confirm that it is still working today. All you need to do is paste a long string of javascript to the address bar and hit Enter before logging in and the web browser will magically prompt you if you would like to save the password. Below is the HTML source code of the Paypal site that has autocomplete=”off” added to the login form.
If for some reason you don’t want to use the bookmarklet or it doesn’t work and want this feature to be permanently removed, making Firefox to always ignore the autocomplete=”off”, this is how you do it on Firefox 4. It was much easier to do this on Firefox 3 because of the naked nsLoginManager.js file but Firefox 4 has packed all of the .js files into one omni.jar file.
